The Truth (Unreleased)

Massively multiplayer online world.  This science fiction game is set in the present in outer space, and concerns a vast conspiracy to use alien technologies to colonize other planets, unbeknownst to the general populace on Earth.  The Truth features a drug education program woven into the entertainment.  It is aimed at teenagers, and is funded by a grant from the Federal government.  I was Head Writer, writing all of the text and dialogue, as well as creating story-based puzzles.  [Entertainment Science]

Un-named Project (Unreleased)

Massively multiplayer online world of intrigue and romance set in the present day.  I consulted on the business plan, and worked on examples of the type of interactive storytelling the product featured.  [Realtime Drama]

The Gryphon Tapestry (Unreleased)

Massively multiplayer online world.  Stylistically influenced by Victorian storybooks, this graphical adventure/RPG game drew upon a blend of medieval culture, traditional fairy tales and Celtic mythology.  It is the only game to date to feature complex non-linear storytelling that could be experienced by any number of people and in any order.  Hired as Head Writer, I eventually became Co-Designer with Dorian Newcomb and Producer.  The game was in closed beta when funding ran out. Temüjin (Released 1996)

Adventure Game.  This project was well underway when I was brought in.  I ended up reworking the story, rewriting dialogue, and adding game play. [Southpeak]

The Light Files (Released 1996)

Interactive non-linear online mystery game.  Investigating the case of an impossible murder committed during the taping of a daytime soap opera, players pursued the story through clues uncovered at multiple websites.  The same idea as the web-mystery promoting the film A.I., but on a slightly more modest budget.  The first person to solve the mystery received a $5000 cash prize.  I was the Writer/Designer/Executive Producer.  Online 1996-1998.  [SouthPeak]
